Ieva Kraule-Kūna explores narrativity and evolution in her artworks. She creates multimedia sculptural objects and site-specific installations, which she accompanies with stories that tighten the pieces and reflect the current theme she examines. 

Ieva refers to childhood memories, crafts, or rituals, as well as stereotypes, in her works, and weaves fictional stories with her life experiences. 

In her approach, we can find complex and often complicated themes that she presents through known images and symbols that carry strong messages and thoughts.
