Collective memories in the exhibition

25. 3. 2026 18:00

H40, Hall 40 – space of The Chemistry Gallery
Bubenské nábřeží 306/13, Prague 7

We invite you to a movement-based workshop shaped by the phenomenon of collective memory, unfolding in dialogue with the exhibition. Throughout the workshop led by Orkun Türkmen and Barbora Türkmen, we enter a shared physical exploration of memory, presence, and belonging.

By listening through the body and responding without words, we open space for different forms of communication and awareness that emerge through movement. Moving between individual exploration and collective tasks, we discover how shared movement can reveal connections between us.

Through guided improvisation, simple physical tasks and group compositions, the workshop brings us closer to the exhibition and deepens our understanding of collective memory. It creates a space to sense, reflect, and share; while asking new questions about how memories are experienced, carried, and transformed through movement and within the collective.

The workshop is open to everyone. No prior dance or theatre experience is needed – just a willingness to explore new ways of thinking and moving!

Please register to participate via the form.
